Butler man accused of removing infant from a home Tuesday
A Butler man was accused of forcing his way into a home and then leaving the scene with an infant, according to Butler Township police.
Landon D. Harper, 25, was charged with felonies burglary, trespassing and child endangerment and misdemeanors simple assault, reckless endangerment and summary harassment after an incident Tuesday, May 21, on Dolphin Drive.
Police said Harper arrived at the home and got into an argument with a woman. Documents showed Harper then forced his way inside the home and pushed the woman.
Harper then forcibly took a 10-month-old child from one of the homeowners and left the scene, according to documents.
Harper’s preliminary hearing is scheduled June 13.
