Knoch Middle School administrator to replace principal

Knoch School District directors approved the hiring of Pelle Nejman as the new principal of Knoch Middle School during a meeting Wednesday, May 8.

For the past two years, Nejman has served as assistant principal.

The news comes as current principal Tyler Vargo has accepted a position in the Leechburg School District. Vargo will remain in the Knoch School District until the end of June.

Nejman is a graduate of Penn State University. He has teaching certifications in social studies and English. He completed his Masters in Educational Leadership at California University of Pennsylvania.

Within the district, Nejman also serves as a member of the District Safety Committee and a member of the Knoch Safe-2-Say safety team.
