BUFFALO TWP — The La Vigneta Winery, located on Bear Creek Road, received approval from supervisors to expand their operations during the board’s monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 8.

The expansion will consist of a new building to be constructed on the winery’s already-existing parcel, a 16.6-acre plot of land on Bear Creek Road which is owned by Francesca and Robert Howden. According to Butler County property records, the two purchased that plot of land in August 2016 for $315,000.

Buffalo Township’s planning commission previously approved the expansion at their meeting last Wednesday, May 1.
