Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Wednesday, April 10, by Judge William Shaffer:

James D. Criner, 43, of Frametown, W.Va., was sentenced to serve no less than six months and no more than 12 months in prison, but was immediately paroled; 48 months probation; pay $1,500; and compete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of misdemeanor DUI filed by state police following an Oct. 15, 2023, incident.

Steven A. Danylo II, 35, of Cranberry Township, was sentenced to serve six months probation, including 14 days of house arrest; pay $1,000; and complete 40 hours of community service and litter pick up after pleading guilty to a charge of misdemeanor DUI filed by Adams Township police following an Oct. 5, 2023, incident.

Rory M. Park, 39, of Slippery Rock, was sentenced in two separate cases to serve 60 months probation, including 105 days of house arrest; pay $2,500 in fines; and complete 40 hours of community service and litter pick up after pleading guilty to two counts of misdemeanor DUI filed by state police after incidents on Feb. 12, 2022, and April 14, 2023.

Jack H. Hartle, 69, of Butler, was sentenced in four separate cases. Three of the sentences run concurrently. He was sentenced to serve no less than 72 hours and no more than 84 months in prison and pay $3,500 in fines after pleading no contest two charges of felony drug sales, and two counts of misdemeanor DUI following incidents on March 17, 2023, April 17, 2023, and July 2, 2023. Hartle also was sentenced in a fourth case to serve no less than 90 days and no more than 24 months in prison and pay $1,500 after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor charge of DUI filed by state police following an April 28, 2023, incident.

Michael W. Dienert, 37, of Renfrew, was sentenced to serve six months probation, including 30 days of house arrest; pay $1,000; and complete 65 hours of community service after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges of DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia filed by state police followed by a July 1, 2023, incident.

Aaron J. Atchison, 25, of Sarver, was sentenced to serve 12 months probation and pay $300 after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges of DUI and disorderly conduct filed by state police following a March 21, 2022, incident.
