PennDOT to start work April 1 on improving Route 422
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Friday, March 22, that it would commence with improvements to a portion of Route 422 running through Butler, Franklin, and Connoquenessing townships, starting April 1.
The project includes paving the Route 8008 ramps, refurbishing the structure on Lions Road, replacing a concrete median barrier, and patching.
The contractor for this project is Lindy Paving of New Galilee, Pa. The project is estimated to cost around $10 million and is expected to conclude by Oct. 11.
