Ruth Ann Link, 79, of Portersville, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital, following an illness.

Born April 1, 1944 in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Margaret Anna Kitson Carpenter.

Ruth retired in 2019 as a school bus driver from the Campbell Bus Line.

She loved the outdoors, gardening, reading, crocheting, quilting, and enjoying time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her children, Shirley (Ken) Brown, John (Dawn) Link, Diane (Edward) Clark, Tammy (Brice) Shaffer, Karen Feather, Gloria (Judd) Ihlenfeld and Amanda (Dustin) Klamer; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Link, whom she married Feb. 27, 1961, and who passed away June 10, 2008; two brothers; and one sister.

LINK — Private services for Ruth Ann Link, who died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024, are under the direction of RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.

A private interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.
