Jill Erdlen, a lifelong resident of Butler, passed away on Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

Born Jan. 23, 1955, in Butler, Jill was the daughter of the late A. Jack Warnick Sr. and June (Bauman) Warnick.

She is survived by her two sons, T.J. (Svetlana) and Troy (Bedonna) Erdlen; her mother, June (Bauman) Warnick; her brothers, Jack (Diane) and Jay (Suzanne) Warnick; and her grandchildren, Rylan, Emery and Bryce.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey T. Warnick.

ERDLEN — A memorial visitation for Jill Erdlen, who died Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.

A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Joel Benson of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations in Jill’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“When you die, that does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live and in the manner in which you live. So Live. Live. Fight like hell. And when you get too tired to fight, then lay down and rest and let somebody else fight for you.”
