Chambers

Margaret R. Chambers, 88, of Karns City, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Butler, the daughter of the late Harold Logan and Doretha (Means) Logan.

She had been a seamstress at Bobbi Brooks and had also worked at Kmart. She enjoyed cross stitching, puzzles, and her dog, Murphy.

Surviving are her two daughters, Karen (Jim Shakley) Mulqueen and Kathy (Tom) Bell of Foxburg; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Fay (Milton) Martz of Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Calvin Chambers; and six sisters and brothers.

CHAMBERS — Services and burial for Margaret R. Chambers, who died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
