Scott McCombs
Scott Andrew McCombs, 59, of Parker, formerly of Callery, passed away on Thursday evening, Jan. 11, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pittsburgh, on Feb. 25, 1964, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Eleanor E. Fuhr McCombs.
A carpenter by trade, Scott worked for Dale Nagel Contracting, Kaclik Builders as a trim carpenter and most recently was self employed, doing business as McCombs Contracting.
He had been a volunteer fireman with Richland Volunteer Fire Department and then Callery Volunteer Fire Department.
Scott loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and boater.
Surviving are his wife, Christine Herbst McCombs, whom he married on May 11, 2010; his daughter, Stephanie Steele (Nathan) of Cranberry Township; his son, Kirk McCombs (Brandy) of Portersville; his stepdaughter, Brittany Eshenbaugh; his grandchildren, Johnathan and Ashley McCombs and Kira Thomas; a brother, Roger Allen McCombs of Millvale; and his sister, Cheryl Ann Heffley (Keith) of Renfrew.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Rutkowski; and a stepson, Wade Eshenbaugh.
MCCOMBS — Friends of Scott Andrew McCombs, who died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brady Randall, of Orchard Hill Church in Butler, officiating.
