Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

Jan. 4 — Ross A. Byers, 24, of Valencia, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Dec. 10 on Warrendale Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.129%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Jan. 4 — Hayden C. Manning, 22, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Jan. 1 on Route 228. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.119%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Butler

Jan. 5 — James E. Barton, 24, of Butler, was charged with felony aggravated assault. Police said he struck someone in the face.

Jan. 4 — Brianna R. Letcher, 30, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said she was found with suspected crack cocaine.

Jan. 4 — Curtis M. Maciel, 34, of Butler, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a crack pipe, suspected crystal methamphetamine and marijuana.

Cranberry Twp

Jan. 9 — Michael R. Moshier, 38, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanors theft and drug possession. Police said he was found in possession of a pipe, marijuana grinder, glass vials, and suspected marijuana and methamphetamine.

Jan. 9 — Tarue R. Davis, 55, of Verona, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he was driving a vehicle with stolen registration.

State police, Butler

Jan. 2 — Ross C. Newell, 36, of Butler, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Nov. 22, 2023, on Route 422 in Summit Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.

Jan. 2 — Sean M. Schroeder, 59, of Fenelton, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him on Wendy Lane, Clearfield Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.

Dec. 30 — Robert P. Rebel, 59, of Renfrew, was charged with felony strangulation and two counts of misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he grabbed someone by the neck and punched the person multiple times.
