David F. Chill
David F. Chill, 75, of New Castle, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024. He was born in New Castle on Oct. 13, 1948, son to the late Nicholas and Lucy (Print) Chill.
David graduated from New Castle School of Trades and honorably served in the Air Force. He loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as spending time in nature, taking part in activities such as fishing, hiking, kayaking and foraging for mushrooms. David was known for his compassion, creativeness, love for laughs and joking around.
He was the father of Nicholas (Rachel), Matthew (Karen) and Jessica Chill; brother of Cathy (Paul) Milligan, Evie (Tony) Ciccone, Christine Fisher, Tom (Pat), Regis (Angie) and Marty (Mindee) Chill; and grandfather of Addison Chill.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Richard Chill; and his sisters Susan Chill, Rita Letourneau and Mary Jane Jermakowicz.
CHILL — A gathering for family and friends of David F. Chill, who died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, will be announced at a later date.
Donations may be made to the Moraine Preservation Fund, 225 Pleasant Valley Road, Portersville, PA 16051. In his memory, David would have loved for his family and friends to take a walk in nature, enjoying the serenity and reflecting on the joy it brought him throughout his life.
