Police reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
Dec. 4 — Kenneth A. Dietrich, 65, of Mars, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he dragged someone out of bed and threw them against a wall.
Nov. 30 — Bridgette M. Ladie, 55, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanors simple assault and harassment. Police said she punched someone in the face.
Nov. 30 — Cierra R. Hefferan, 21, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Police said she struck someone in the face multiple times.
Dec. 1 — A 15-year-old female was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Walmart with $356 wroth of merchandise without paying for it.
Nov. 30 — Emma R. Baker, 23, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Walmart with $228 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Nov. 30 — David M. Pintell, 33, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief and summaries disorderly conduct and harassment. Police said he was part of an altercation in Butler Commons.
Nov. 29 — Jason C. Kropko, 54, of Renfrew, was charged with misdemeanor accidents involving property damage. Police said he backed into a vehicle and did not leave any information.
Nov. 29 — Christina N. Zarnick, 39, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said she was found with a syringe loaded with suspected heroin.
Dec. 8 — Christopher T. Hupp, 43, of Cranberry Township, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Walmart with cash that was not his.
Dec. 8 — Kevon A. Smith, 25, of Penn Hills, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left Fine Wine and Good Spirits with $179 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Nov. 30 — Matthew M. Marchinetti, 56, of Fairview, was charged with misdemeanor accidents involving property damage. Police said he left the scene of a crash without leaving information.
Nov. 29 — Ashley D. Thomas, 39, of Harmony, was charged with four counts of felony conspiracy and two counts of misdemeanor false report. Police said she falsely accused someone of kidnapping and theft.
Dec. 4 — Justin L. Herp, 45, of Butler, was charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he grabbed someone by the neck.
Dec. 4 — Richard J. Claypoole, 52, of Hilliards, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he punched someone in the face.
Dec. 4 — Jacob T. Casciato, 37, of Darlington, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm.
Dec. 1 — Josie L. Six, 33, of Sligo, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped her Nov. 11 on Route 422. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later breath test showed her blood alcohol content at 0.159%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Dec. 1 — Zachery M. Birckbichler, 43, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after police stopped him on Dunbaugh Avenue, Butler. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of benzoylecgonine and cocaine in his system. A crack pipe was found on his person, police said.
Dec. 1 — James A. Cogley, 45, of Butler, was charged with three counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with suspected crack cocaine and a crack pipe.
Dec. 1 — Brandon J. Steere, 32, of Butler, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a pipe and grinder.
Dec. 1 — Kristy M. Cousins, 44, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and drug possession after police stopped her on South Church Street, Butler. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of cocaine, THC, gabapentin and benzoylecgonine in her system. Suspected cocaine was also found in her vehicle, police said.
Nov. 28 — Joseph E. Gibson, 56, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after crashing his vehicle May 29 on Main Street, Chicora. Police said he showed signs of impairment, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.114%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Nov. 30 — Michael J. Ohara, 38, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police stopped him Nov. 19 on Main Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.108%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
