Clarence Dillner
Clarence R. Dillner, 96, of West Deer Township, passed away on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023.
Born Aug. 29, 1927, in Bairdford, he was the son of the late Raymond and Hazel (Bonin) Dillner.
Clarence was a machinist with Anvil Products. He loved the outdoors and hunting with his coon dogs, Dirk and Cy. He loved his gardening. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his sons, Lawrence R. Dillner (Sharon) and Kenneth W. (Gloria); daughter, Suzanne (Jerry) Neville; son-in-law Gary Rees; grandchildren, Christopher (Stacey) Rees, Jayson Rees, Steven (Jodie) Dillner, Stacie (LeRoy) Mosser, Michele Dillner, Jennifer (Mike) Haddox, Brad (Michele) Riemer, Kevin (Amy) Dillner, Leslie (Robert) Silvestri and Dottie Lou (Tom) Steighner; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathryn (Dillner) Rees; siblings, Norman Dillner, Ethel LeFever, Jean Hagan and Francis Hardt; wife, Dorothy Austin Dillner, and second wife, Joanne McIntire Dillner.
DILLNER — The family of Clarence R. Dillner, who died Monday, Nov. 20, 2023, will welcome friends from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, Pa.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Mike and Jen Haddox officiating.
He will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Cheswick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
