John Heinz History Center to hold flag folding ceremony on Nov. 11
The Senator John Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh will host a special flag folding ceremony on Veterans Day — Saturday, Nov. 11 — at 11 a.m.
During the ceremony, visitors will be invited to help veterans unfurl and unfold a 36-foot American flag in the museum’s first-floor Great Hall.
Throughout the day, all veterans will receive free admission to the History Center. Other visitors can take part in the ceremony free of charge, but admission to view the exhibits at the History Center is still regular price.
The History Center currently is hosting the Wars of Empire and Liberty exhibition, which features more than 25 works of art from historical artist Don Troiani depicting the French & Indian War and the Revolutionary War.
