Leaves past peak color in Butler County, most of Pennsylvania

It was fun while it lasted.

While there is still find plenty of gorgeous colors if you know where to look, the fall foliage report for Pennsylvania says that the autumn leaves are starting to fade this week.

This is also true for nearly the entire state, with only a chunk of southeast and south central Pennsylvania still listed as experiencing peak color for the week of Oct. 26 through Nov. 1. Somerset County, on the border with Maryland, is listed as “past peak,” along with some counties on the state’s northern border.
