Butler grad Bocci gets swimming honor

CLARION — Butler graduate and Clarion University junior swimmer David Bocci has been named PSAC Male Swimmer of the Week.

Bocci won three individual events and broke a Gannon pool record during the Golden Eagles’ dual meet there. He set the pool record in the 200-meter butterfly, winning in 1 minute, 52.28 seconds.

He also won the 200 back in 1:55.96 and 200 individual medley in 1:56.26. He swam a leg of the 200 medley relay in 1:34.61.
