Bill and Mary Barnhart, of Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, celebrated 50 years of marriage with a trip to Las Vegas followed by a Mass to renew their vows on Sunday, Oct. 1, at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady.

Barnhart married the former Mary King on Sept. 28, 1973, at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady.

They have two children, Tracy Sheakley of East Brady and Tammy Barnhart of Bellevue.

They also have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Barnhart retired from Witco. He sings in the choir at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church.

Mrs. Barnhart owned and operated a beauty shop. She sings in the choir and teaches CCD at St. Eusebius.

The couple also enjoy spending time with family and wintering in Florida.

The Barnharts are members of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church.
