Ward

Theresa L. Ward, 89, of Mars, formerly of McCandless Township, passed away on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 1, 2023, at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Buffalo, N.Y., on March 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Harriet Kosinska Licnerski.

Surviving are her son, Vickers Ward III and his wife, Patricia, of Mars; her three daughters, Ellen Green and her husband, William Jr., of Butler, Karen Ward of Evans City and Amy Martin of North Huntingdon; her grandchildren, Julia Mincer and her husband, Ethan, Adam Ward, Ashley Molnar and her husband, Phil, Autumn Ward and Cole Green; a great-grandson, Simon Molnar; and her sister, Diane Pietzrak and her husband, Ken of Buffalo, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vickers E. Ward Jr., whom she married on Nov. 27, 1958, and who died on Jan. 1, 2018; and by a brother, Paul Licnerski.

WARD — Arrangements for Theresa L. Ward, who died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023, are private and under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Burial will be in Mars Cemetery, Adams Township.
