Dennis Pacek
Dennis J. Pacek, 68, of Jefferson Township, passed away at home Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, after being ill the past four years.
He was born July 12, 1955, in Natrona Heights, and was the son to the late Joseph and Clara (McIntyre) Pacek.
Dennis lived most of his life in Jefferson Township and was a laborer for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp, Brackenridge, for 30 years and also worked for Graff Surveying in Saxonburg. He was a member of Holy Sepulcher Church in Butler and a 1973 graduate of Highlands High School. Dennis enjoyed fishing and hunting, going to his Tionesta camp with his brothers and friends and his Canadian fishing trips. Dennis especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events until most recently when his health did not allow.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Barbara A. (Petit) Pacek; his children, twins, Dr. Corey A. (Athena) Pacek of Butler, and Carley A. (Rob) Wyant of Economy Borough; and son Tate (Becky) Pacek of Saxonburg; and his grandchildren, Jackson, Zane, Deianira and Leda Pacek, Dexter and Annie Wyant and Alex and Max Pacek. Also surviving are his brothers, Bill Pacek of Tarentum and Charlie Pacek of Natrona Heights; sisters, Clara “Sis,” Linda and Jeanne; sisters-in-law, Sandy Cogley of Apollo and Amy (Joe) Gettinger of Creighton; as well as numerous extended families.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Pacek; nephew, Jerry; and niece, Erin.

PACEK — Visitation for Dennis J. Pacek, who died Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 12 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in DUSTER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 347 E. 10th Ave., Tarentum.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler.
Everyone please meet at the church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
