Daniel and Pamela Burke

Daniel and Pamela Burke of Butler Township celebrated 50 years of marriage with a reception on Aug. 20 at American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora.

Burke married the former Pamela Bianucci on Aug. 17, 1973, at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have two children, Tracy Burke of Womelsdorf, Pa., and Sean Burke of Butler.

They also have three grandchildren.

Burke retired from AK Steel as a supervisory engineer.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and is a member of the Society of Professional Engineers, Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 64 in Butler, Elks Lodge 170 in Butler, and American Legion Post 778.

Mrs. Burke retired from Mars Bank.

They are members of St. Conrad Roman Catholic Church in All Saints Parish.
