SRU’s Long named Player of Week

SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University quarterback Brayden Long has been named PSAC West Offensive Player of the Week.

Long completed 19 of 24 passes for 312 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in The Rock’s 49-24 win over West Chester.

Rock’s Patrick named Athlete of Week

LOCK HAVEN — Slippery Rock University women’s soccer forward Sydney Patrick has been named PSAC West Athlete of the Week.

Patrick led SRU to wins of 5-0 over Pitt-Johnstown and 2-0 over Seton Hill. She scored five points, netting one goal and notching three assists.

SV grad DeGraaf gets PSAC honors

GROVE CITY — Seneca Valley graduate Annie DeGraaf, a senior middle blocker for the Grove City College women’s volleyball team, has been named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

DeGraaf totaled 71 kills and 23 blocks, along with 10 aces, as the Wolverines went 7-0 last week.
