Butler man sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting teenage girl
A Butler man was sentenced Monday to serve three to six years in state prison and ordered to register with state police for the rest of his life as a sexual offender under Megan’s Law for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in 2020.
Jeremy Jaymes Ambrosi-Clair, 31, pleaded guilty to felony charges of sexual assault, corruption of minors and child pornography and was sentenced by Butler County Common Pleas Judge Kelley Streib. The sentence included three years of probation after his release from prison.
Ambrosi-Clair was arrested by Butler City police in September 2021 after ChildLine received a report alleging a sexual assault in 2020.
Police said they conducted a forensic interview with the girl, who claimed Ambrosi-Clair began sexual advances toward her around May 2020.
The girl told officers Ambrosi-Clair would send her lewd messages and pictures of himself.
She told officers that one day he entered her bedroom, pinned her down and sexually assaulted her.
The girl told officers that Ambrosi-Clair continued to send her lewd text messages after the incident.
