Patton

Robert D. Patton, 88, of Mars, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born July 30, 1935, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Robert and Emma Murphy Patton.

He was a gold coat member of the Moose Lodge in Butler. He also was a member of Butler VFW 247, American Legion 778, and the Slovak Club. He was employed by Motor Express and was a Teamster driver. He was also employed by Plastic Coil for 18 years.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his longtime partner of 18 years, Bernice Goeppner; his children, Deborah (Joseph) Starr, Robin (Bruce) Dettling, David (Maureen) Patton and Barbara Patton; his sister, Lois Patton; his best friend, Larry Taylor; and his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents; Bob was preceded in death by his son, Dale Patton; and his sisters, Elizabeth Griffin and Mary Carol Kraus.

PATTON — Per his wishes, there will be no services for Robert D. Patton, who died Friday, Aug. 25, 2023.
