Kevin J. Tirk, 53, of Butler passed away on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, at his home.

Born April 30, 1970, in Butler, he was the son of Joseph Tirk and Kay Kamerer Tirk.

He was employed at Penn United Technologies, Cabot, for 31 years, where he enjoyed his job and his coworkers. Kevin was a member of Harvest Baptist Church, Natrona Heights, and he was a man of strong faith. He enjoyed hunting, hiking, watching sunsets with his wife and vacationing with his family. Kevin's family was everything to him.

Surviving are his loving wife, Rebecca (Osche) Tirk, whom he married Aug. 12, 1995; his parents, Joseph and Kay Tirk, of Butler; his sons, Travis Tirk and his wife, Alyssa (Carpenter), of Spotsylvania Courthouse, Va., Jacob Tirk of Butler, and Troy Tirk of Butler; and one grandchild on the way, due February of 2024.

TIRK — A memorial service for Kevin J. Tirk, who died Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, at Harvest Baptist Church, 224 Harvest Lane, Natrona Heights, with Pastor Marc Likins officiating.

Private interment will be held at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Butler.
