Elisa Peffer Walker, 34, of Zelienople, passed away Thursday evening, Aug. 24, 2023, after a long, courageous battle with melanoma. Elisa was born in Zelienople on March 8, 1989, and was the beloved daughter of Victor and Brenda Peffer. After graduating from Seneca Valley High School in 2007, she went on to Grove City College where she studied accounting in 2011. She was an employee of Fidelity Investments of Cranberry Township. Elisa was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Evans City.

Elisa was known for being an amazing and loving mother who could make anyone smile. She was passionate about her children, and being auntie to her two nieces, even during the pain she had from her disease. She was diagnosed with melanoma in August of 2021 and never lost hope and kept fighting. Elisa enjoyed spending all her free time with her children and husband of seven years, Corey, whom she married on Sept. 5, 2015. She was passionate about baking with her daughter and nieces and enjoyed going on family vacations and being an amazing companion in life. She will be sadly missed and remembered by many.

She leaves behind her two beloved children, Emersyn, 4, and Elliot, 16 months; her husband, Corey Walker; her brother, Nathan Peffer; and her parents, Victor and Brenda Peffer.

Elisa is survived by her grandmother, Hazel Beltz Ford; her in-laws, Jim and Cindy Walker; her husband's siblings, Lindsay (Chad) Jaggard and Makenzie Walker; as well numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

WALKER — Family and friends of Elisa Peffer Walker, who died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E Grandview Ave. Zelienople.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 202 Van Buren St., Evans City.
