Tom and Linda Menchyk

Tom and Linda Menchyk of Butler Township celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner on Aug. 17 and an open house reception on Aug. 19 at St. Peter Catholic Church hall in Butler.

Menchyk married the former Linda L. Nebel on Aug. 18, 1973, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Butler.

They have three children, Matthew Menchyk and Michael Menchyk, both of Butler Township, and Nicholas Menchyk of Seven Fields.

They also have three grandchildren.

Menchyk is retired from Butler Area School District, where he was a teacher.

Mrs. Menchyk also retired from Butler Area School District, where she worked as a paraprofessional.

The Menchyks are members of St. Conrad Catholic Church in Meridian, which is part of All Saints Parish.
