Miller

Margaret Miller, 76, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023.

She was born in Butler, on Oct. 22, 1946, to the late Willis and Pearl (McCandless) Miller.

Maggie was a retired waitress at the original Butler Hot Dog Shop where she worked for over 30 years. While employed there she developed many loving and lasting friendships with her customers that she was always grateful for. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, Virginia and Shirley, testing her luck at the casinos. Her greatest cherished moments were spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Maggie was the mother of Tina (Jeremy Elder) Stahlman and Robert Miller; sister of Virginia (John) Osborne and Shirley Matuke; grandmother of Jeremy, Spencer, Carter, Lindsay, Ava and Andrew; and great-grandmother of Amara, Tegan and Tony.

Maggie was preceded in death by her beloved William McCracken, who passed away on Dec. 26, 2011; her brother, Ralph Miller; sisters, Patricia Devore and Julia Conner; and a granddaughter; and great-nephew Michael Crawford.

MILLER — Services for Margaret Miller, who died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
