Betty E. Kaempf Giesler, 90, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born Oct. 20, 1932, in West Winfield, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Fred Kaempf and Johanna Gagneur Kaempf.

She worked as a picker for the Butler County Mushroom Farm. Betty was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville.

Surviving are her sister, Mary Ann Macurdy, of Cabot; grandsons, Christopher Lauer, of Cabot and Jonathan (Kaleena) Lauer, of Butler; great-granddaughters, Hanna and Emma Lauer; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Giesler; daughter, Rosemary Uptegraph; two brothers, Harry and John; and one sister, Jenny.

GIESLER — A Mass of Christian burial for Betty E. Kaempf Giesler, who died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. John Catholic Church, 668 Clearfield Road, Fenelton. Everyone please meet at the church.

Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
