Marlin M. Guest, 90, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, while under the care of Advanced Care Center of Butler.

Born April 10, 1933, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late William Kriess and Gertrude Saylor Kriess.

Marlin was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church in Butler. She was an avid Steelers and Penguins fan and had attended several Super Bowl games. She enjoyed NASCAR and local racing, especially the stock cars. Marlin will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Marlin leaves behind to cherish her memory her siblings, Henry R. Kriess, Suzanne Weiland, Jack L. Kriess, Ronald E. Kriess and Gary R. Kriess; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Marlin was preceded in death by her husband, Regis Guest; and her siblings, Dorothy Pasqualichio, Margaret Flemming, Eleanor Critchlow, William R. Kriess, Larry M. Kriess, Shirley Barr, Karen Kriess, Beverly Stevenson and James R. Kriess.

GUEST — Visitation for Marlin M. Guest, who died Sunday, July 16, 2023, will be from noon Friday until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m.

Marlin will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.
