Daniel Cornetti, 83, of Middlesex Township, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at UPMC Passavant McCandless.

Born Nov. 4, 1939, in West Winfield, he was the son of the late John Cornetti and Vera (Kiser) Cornetti.

Dan lived his life according to 1 Thessalonians 4:11. He worked at the Winfield Mushroom Mine, as a butcher for Dave Fine Meat Packing and also worked at Thoma Meat Market. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Kittanning. Dan enjoyed watching all sports, playing cards with his siblings, and he loved to cook.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Cornetti, whom he married July 2, 1959; his children, Suzan (Don) Murphy of Sarver, Bruce (Donna) Cornetti of Butler, Roy Cornetti of Middlesex Township, Danna (John) Dewalt of Erie and Dina (Don) Marshall of Middlesex Township; brothers, Edward Cornetti of Colorado Springs, Colo., Ronald Cornetti of Butler and Roy Cornetti of Worthington; a sister, Donna Hoak of Cabot; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Shirley Kerry.

CORNETTI — Friends of Daniel Cornetti, who died Saturday, July 15, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Nathan Bramlett officiating.

Interment will follow in Glade Run Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Grace Baptist Church in Kittanning, 527 Butler Road, Kittanning PA 16201.
