Robert Coulter
Robert “Robby” Thomas-Franklin Coulter, 22, of Harrisville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
Robby was born in Logan, Utah, on Sept. 26, 2000, to Colleen and Robert Coulter. He was the oldest of three boys, along with Alexander and Mac.
He was pursuing a certificate as an electrical technician. He loved and protected his family fiercely. His loyalty to his family and those close to him knew no bounds. He attended both Moniteau School District until 10th grade and graduated from PA Cyber School.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed all kinds of hunting and fishing. Robby landed his first trout, on his own, the day he turned 2. Shot his first buck at the age of 6 and got one every year with either his rifle or bow. He bagged his first turkey when he was 8 and got one each spring and fall season. He took friends who had never been but wanted to go turkey hunting and helped them get their first turkey. He landed all kinds of fresh and saltwater fish, including his first shark at the age of 12. He utilized every opportunity to be in the outdoors. If he didn’t have a reason to be outdoors, he went anyway to find peace and serenity.
He had an exceptional ability to connect with animals. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, playing football, all kinds of music, surfing and driving fast. He had traveled to Alaska, Hawaii and a multitude of states out west and in the south. He had heart and a determination well beyond his years. His loss will remain heavy on the hearts of his family and those who loved him.
Robby is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas R. Disher Sr.
Robby is survived by his mother, Colleen; his brothers, Alec and Mac; his maternal grandmother, Dolores “Nunny” B. Disher of Penn Hills; and his “Uncle Tommy” Disher Jr., also of Penn Hills.
