Shearer-Watkin

Jessica L. Shearer-Watkin, 49, of Bruin, passed away Tuesday morning, June 27, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, following an extended illness.

She was born Jan. 23, 1974, in Denver, Colo., to Barbara Johnson Coy and William H. Santee, who survive.

She had worked for a number of years at the Centurion Restaurant in Petrolia.

Jessica is survived by her companion, David Kelly, of Bruin; her three daughters, Elexis Bloomfield, Kayla Watkin and Chloe Starks; and her son, Zachary Watkin, all out of state. Locally surviving are her two stepdaughters, Tiffany and Kathrine Kelly; three step-grandchildren, Chloe Kelly, Aliya Adams and Malaysia Summerville. Also surviving are her sister, Kristy Miller, of Kansas; and grandmother, Martha Santee.

Jessica was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Danielle Kelly.

SHEARER-WATKIN — Visitation for Jessica L. Shearer-Watkin, who died June 27, 2023, will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Martinsburg Presbyterian Church, 128 Main St., Bruin, with a funeral service following at 4 p.m.
