She has already been released.

According to police, two troopers arrived at Christy’s home March 19, 2022, shortly after they investigated a disturbance at TJ’s Hideaway in Evans City. Christy’s boyfriend let them into the home to talk to Christy, who was lying on her bed in a bedroom. Police said she yelled at them and wouldn’t answer questions about the disturbance.

As the troopers were leaving the home, Christy followed, approached them and raised her fist at one of the troopers, police said.

The troopers arrested her and accused her of drunken driving and making the threatening gesture, but she resisted pulled away from them, police said. She dug her fingernails into one trooper’s hand while he was trying to place her in handcuffs, police said.

She also spit at one of the troopers and the spit landed in the officers mouth and eye and on his face, police said. That trooper had to undergo three rounds of blood work to test for diseases that can be spread from saliva.
