Mars library to host summer reading program
Mars Area Public Library will begin its summer reading program on Monday, June 5.
The program will run through Aug. 11, inviting readers of all ages to log their progress through the summer months.
Paper packets will be available at the library, 107 Grand Ave., Mars, starting Monday and available for download through the library’s website.
The library’s summer program will also include a variety of story times for all ages, the Reading Rangers program for kindergarten through grade three, skill-building programs for teens and reading challenges with prizes for all ages.
Additionally, the library will host Community Clothes Swaps and a Community Mending Station this summer.
