Two Slippery Rock University students who hail from Butler County were recently inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

Catherine Close of Buffalo Township and Stephanie Wolfe of Cranberry Township are among about 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year.

Only the top 10% of seniors, 7.5% of juniors and 10% of graduate students are eligible for Phi Kappa Phi.
