One of Butler County’s most prized historical sites now has a couple of spiffy new signs pointing to it thanks to an enterprising Eagle Scout.

For his service project, Eagle Scout Jeremy Joseph Dawson posted two new signs which will point visitors and motorists toward the historic Cooper Cabin Homestead on Cooper Road in Cabot.

“JJ took care of permits, fundraising, engineering, and installing new signs on Route 356 and at the Cooper property,” reads a post on the Butler County Historic Society’s Facebook page. “The signs are gorgeous and will stand forever! We are all so grateful.”
