Master gardener talk will benefit all gardeners
The South Butler Public Library will offer the seminar “Not Your Grandma’s Garden” at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9 at the library at 240 W. Main Street in Saxonburg.
The event, which is part of the library’s summer lecture series, will see Penn State master gardener Kathy Wilderoter discuss garden options to help new gardeners with ideas and keep experienced gardeners out of a rut.
Wilderoter’s focus will be on gardens with produce that tastes better and that take up less space and require less care for those with limited time or energy for a garden.
The session is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
Door prizes and refreshments will be provided at the event.
