Daisy Scouts donating book box
Daisy Girl Troop 16845 is donating a book box to Mount Chestnut Church in an end-of-year ceremony Tuesday, May 23.
The ceremony will also honor the girls advancing from Daisy to Brownie level.
The book box was donated by the Butler Eagle with a shelf built by Mike Duncan and painted by Cammisa’s Autobody in Butler. It was designed by the girls of the troop and will be maintained and stocked by the troop.
The book box will also have some signed bookmarks from Deborah Diesen, author of the “Pout Pout Fish” book series, who gave them to the troop after reading about its anti-bullying event in February.
