Bookfest brings a crowd

Books galore

The spring Butler County Bookfest kicked off Friday at the Butler Farm Show grounds.

Three participating libraries, South Butler Community Library, Prospect Community Library and Slippery Rock Community Library benefit from the event, which features more than 100,000 books, plus CDs, DVDs and other media.

The event continues from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday through Monday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.
