The Butler County Early Care & Education Council, a community collaboration to support school readiness coordinated by Lifesteps, will celebrate national Week of the Young Child with the special event Learning is Everywhere from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 28, at the Butler Farm Show Grounds.

The free event is for families with children from birth through grade school. The Week of the Young Child celebration is one of several special events taking place during Butler County Bookfest that will run from Friday, April 28 to Tuesday, May 2 at the Farm Show grounds.

More than 20 community organizations will be on hand offering learning activities, story time, free books, prizes, community resources and more.
