Police Reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
March 27 — Sean A. Mientus, 34, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanors of driving under the influence and reckless endangerment after police said he crashed his vehicle Feb. 4. Police said he showed signs of impairment and a later blood test showed Mientus’ blood alcohol content at 0.22%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 27 — Daniel P. Adamik, 53, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanors of driving with a suspended license, reckless endangerment and habitual offenses. Police said he ran a red light and was struck by another vehicle.
March 27 — Nyasha F. Michaud, 30, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Walmart with $155 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
March 29 — Rachal D.J. Elwell, 27, of Uniontown, was charged with misdemeanors theft and conspiracy, and Jacob F. Best, 25, of New Kensington, was charged with felony theft and conspiracy. Police said they left Best Buy with $357 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
March 19 — Kelly N. Hines, 36, of Bethel Park, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said he crashed his vehicle Feb. 28 at Cranberry Woods Drive. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Hines’ blood alcohol content at 0.173% In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 27 — Jordan M. Hyatt, 28, of Slippery Rock, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him March 18 on Pfeifer Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Hyatt’s blood alcohol content at 0.106%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 27 — Alison Hertweck, 58, of Wexford, was charged with felony fleeing an officer and misdemeanor reckless endangerment after police said she drove into the rear of a police vehicle and drove recklessly through the borough.
March 27 — Steven E. Stein, 60, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a misdemeanor of driving with a suspended license. Police said his license was suspended for DUI.
March 27 — Michael R. John, 30, of Natrona Heights, was charged with a misdemeanor of driving with a suspended license and several traffic citations. Police said his license was suspended for DUI.
April 6 — Ian J. Linkenheimer, 20, of Zelienople, was charged with misdemeanors of DUI and use and possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they stopped him on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of THC in his system. Marijuana, THC wax and vials and other paraphernalia were found in Linkenheimer’s vehicle, police said.
March 29 — Robert D. Green, 43, of Butler, was charged with felony trespassing and misdemeanor criminal mischief. Police said he attempted to break into someone’s home.
March 28 — Anthony L. Williams, 33, of Butler, was charged in three cases with felony drug sales and misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said on Aug. 11, 2021, Sept. 8, 2021 and Sept. 14, 2021 he sold methamphetamine or crack cocaine to a confidential informant.
March 27 — Michael A. Rossi, 52, of Renfrew, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him March 25 on Stamm Road, Slippery Rock Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed Rossi’s blood alcohol content at 0.153%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
March 24 — Leah Crawford, 28, of Chicora, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped her Jan. 1 on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired.
March 27 — Ryan J. Kost, 25, of New Waterford, Ohio, was charged with felony strangulation and terroristic threats and simple assault. Police said he put his arm around someone’s throat, restrained them and threatened to break their bones.
