Regarding Butler’s ‘Sanctuary Policy’

It was recently reported that Butler is revoking out “Sanctuary Policy.” What is this sanctuary policy? This means that Butler law enforcement have been ordered to deny federal law enforcement access to illegal immigrants who are arrested and jailed in our community.

In other words, Butler County was actively promoting an open border and sheltering criminals who illegally enter our country. I was shocked to learn that local police would be acting in defiance of federal immigration law. I never suspected that this could be happening.

I find that none of my neighbors were aware of this, nor did they approve of this practice. Even more troubling is the notion that our elected officials would enact such a law contrary to the best interests and wishes of the citizenry. Who was responsible for this law?

What else is happening at city hall that we don’t know about?
