Asking for help

I own property at 512 W. Jefferson St. along with four garages in the back. In the past, the city has back-grated this alley, which is called Chase alley. There are at least 20 potholes which the street department came down and filled.

When it rains, these potholes fill up with water. I’ve had to go down and empty these potholes with a coffee can and five-gallon buckets. If I don’t, water goes into my garages, which has 2 hot water tanks and 2 furnaces.

When it rains all day, I’ve had to go down there 2-3 times a day, at night also, using my headlights to see, to get the water out.

I have talked to the city and received no help. Are there any other alleys in Butler like this? Do I have to pay $1000 or more, or is the city going to fix this?
