College notes

QUINTIN WEAVER (Union) ran a leg of Thiel’s 4.000-meter distance relay that set a school record at the Jim Wuske Invitational. Weaver also placed fifth in the men’s 500 meters with a time of 1 minute, 11.35 seconds.

MATTHEW LASLAVIC (Seneca Valley) took ninth in the triple jump for Penn State Behrend at the Jud Logan “Light Giver” Collegiate Open at Ashland University. His jump was 41 feet, 01.0 inches.

MADILYN BOYER (Knoch) scored 20 points to pace Penn State Behrend in its 82-72 women’s basketball loss to La Roche.

LIZ SIMMS (Butler) ran the 800 meters in two minutes, 18 seconds for Davidson at the South Carolina University Open.

GABBY KUTCHMA (Seneca Valley) ran a leg of Clarion’s women’s distance medley relay team in its victory at the Jim Wuske Invitational. The quartet ran the event in 12 minutes, 49.20 seconds. Kutchma also took third in the 800 in 2:29.80.

AUTUMN PETTINATO (Butler) placed 10th in the 3,000 meters at the Jim Wuske Invitational for Clarion.

JACOB PATTON (Moniteau) placed third in the 60 meters for Westminster, running a time of 8.60 seconds at the University of Akron Invitational. His time is second fastest in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference this season.

ANTHONY KAMENSKI (Karns City) was fourth in the 60-meter hurdles (9.04) and ninth in the 400 (51.43) for Westminster at the University of Akron Invitational.

HUNTER JONES (Karns City) ran a leg of Grove City’s 800-meter relay that placed second overall at the Jim Wuske Invitational with a school-record time of 1 minute, 35.75 seconds.

JONAH DeWITT (Seneca Valley) placed eighth in the 3,000 meters for Grove City at the Jim Wuske Invitational with a time of 9:28.52.
