Butler County Community College’s Mitchell Covert shot a 47-over four-round score, finishing tied for 49th in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Golf Championships last week at Chautauqua Golf Club, in New York.

He was joined by three other Pioneers at the tournament, with Mason Phillips finishing 65-over in 68th in his first appearance.

On the women’s side, Taylor Voloch, a Moniteau grad, finished 28th with a 153-over. Lean McClellan was plus-199 and finished 30th in her first national championship apperance.
