North Catholic dominates in 79-37 triumph
Matt Ellery bucketed 13 points and Max Hurray, Max Rottmann, and Nick Larson all posted 11 as North Catholic downed Winchester Thurston, 79-37. The Trojans led by 17 after the first frame and 33 by the halftime break.
A-C Valley 50, Cranberry 48 — Jay Clover’s 17 points were crucial in the Falcons earning a close home win. Alex Preston helped out with another 10 points and Ryan Cooper with a pair of threes.

Girls Basketball
Knoch sank six treys in the first half and powered to a 55-18 decision over Derry. Hattie McGraw led the Knights (6-4, 2-1) with 18 points, knocking down three tries from beyond the arc in the third frame. Her team posted 11 treys in total.
Knoch will return to action against Greensburg Salem Monday night.
North Catholic 62, Greensburg Salem 41 — Alayna Rocco turned in 21 points and Tori Drevna went 5-for-6 from three-point range, posting 19 points, as the Trojanettes won this one. Ava Walker added another 11 points for North.
Mars 55, Armstrong 36 — The Planets trailed by five at the midway intermission, but four girls — Vita Vargo, Annalyn Isaacs, Lauren Atwell, Olivia Donnelly — reached double figures and helped them climb out of the hole. Vargo paced Mars with 16 points.
