Eric Devore rolled a 780 series to lead Butler’s boys bowling team to a 7-0 win over Kiski Area Wednesday at Family Bowlaway. His games were 265-247-268.

Alex Ekas added a 247 game and 664 series while Rocco Rice had a 635 series and Luke Keene a 618. Marty Imhof rolled a 232 game as the Golden Tornado improved to 3-0.

Butler’s girls moved to 2-1 on the year with a 7-0 victory. Kelsee McConnell rolled a 232 game and 671 series. Natalie Coughenour added a 215-588.

Freeport vs. Franklin Regional — Julia Cummings rolled a 202 game and 579 series Wednesday as Freeport’s girls bowling team defeated Franklin Regional, 7-0.

Mackensie Livingston contributed a 190 game and 504 series for the Yellowjackets.

Franklin Regional’s boys defeated Freeport, 7-0, as Luke Sunny had a 668 series that included games of 245 and 235. Brandon Smith rolled a 207-582 and Dom Freets a 201-575.

Colin Cummings rolled a 582 series for Freeport that included a 233 and 210 game. Dylan Granata added a 224-582 for the Yellowjackets.

Girls Basketball

Melaina DeZort scored 19 points to lead Freeport to a 48-19 win at Burrell. The Yellowjackets outscored the Bucs 44-11 in the first three quarters. Emily Wojtczak led Burrell with 7 points.

North Clarion 57, A-C Valley 23 — Mackenzie Parks scored eight points for the Falcons (0-5). Emma McFarland led North Clarion (6-0) with 11 points as the hosts took a 23-8 lead into halftime.
