Sentence court

The following defendants were sentenced Thursday in Common Pleas Court by Judge Kelley Streib.

Jasmine Nichole Thorpe, 27, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 48 months of probation after pleading guilty to two counts of recklessly endangering another person filed by Penn Township police following a March 9 incident, and pleading guilty to a charge of retail theft filed by Butler Township police following a June 13, 2021, incident.

Derrick Lamont Hart, 53, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve six to 12 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 24 months of probation including six months of house arrest, and pay $1,600 in restitution to four businesses after pleading guilty to a charge of forgery filed by Cranberry Township police following a June 26, 2019, incident.

Margo Victoria Barr, 57, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay a $50 fine after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia filed by Butler City police following a June 5 incident.

Mathew Carlos Stuteville, 25, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six months of probation and pay a $50 fine after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance filed by state police following a Nov. 16, 2019, incident.

Christine Jo Taggart, 51, of Mars, was sentenced to serve 60 months of probation including 105 days on house arrest, pay fines totaling $2,500, complete 40 hours of community service and pay $3,500 in restitution after pleading guilty to her first and second driving under the influence offenses filed in separate cases filed by Butler Township police following incidents on June 4, 2021 and Feb. 28 this year.

Kelly R. Wolf, 44, of Mercer, was sentenced to serve 12 to 24 months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 36 months of probation including nine months of house arrest and pay fines totaling $2,500 after pleading guilty to her second DUI offense and driving with a suspended license filed by state police following an April 6, 2021, incident.
