The following defendants were sentenced Thursday in Common Pleas Court by Judge Timothy McCune.

Kayla Marie Huff, 33, of Butler, was sentenced to consecutively serve two terms of six to 18 months in prison and six months of probation after pleading guilty to misdemeanor charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person. The case was filed by Butler Township police after she threw a brick through a window of a vehicle with her two children and their father inside during a domestic dispute on Sept. 23, 2021.

Mausee Salishmahn Brown, 44, of Butler, was sentenced to serve 21 to 60 months in the county prison followed by 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a felony charge of possession of heroin with intent to deliver. The case was filed by Butler Township police following a March 3, 2021, traffic stop in which he was a passenger in the vehicle. He was given credit for having served 575 days in prison, and is eligible for parole after serving 21 months.

Mark Anthony Cook, 39, of New Castle, was sentenced to serve six to 24 months in state prison while serving 36 months of probation after pleading guilty to a felony charge of contraband filed by the sheriff’s office after he was found in possession of illegal drugs when he was taken to the county prison to serve a sentence in an unrelated case on Nov. 18, 2021.

Daniel K. Hood, 48, of Butler, was sentenced to serve six to 23½ months in prison, but was immediately paroled to serve 12 months of probation after pleading no contest to charges in four cases. The charges include simple assault, which was filed by Butler Township police following a June 24, 2020, incident; possession of drug paraphernalia filed by Penn Township police following a June 7, 2020, incident; simple assault filed by Penn Township police following a Sept., 19, 2020, incident; and another charge of simple assault filed by Penn Township police following a Sept. 18, 2020, incident. He was given credit for time served in each case.

Ryan Patrick Bickford, 34, of Slippery Rock, was sentenced to serve 72 hours in the county prison, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of driving under the influence. The case was filed by state police following a July 3, 2020, incident.

Robert Axel Dubois, 33, of Slippery Rock was sentenced to serve six months of probation, including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 25 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a Dec. 28, 2019, incident.

Timothy J. Hindman, 63, of Boyers, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation and pay fines totaling $150 after pleading guilty to a charge of accidents involving damage and two summary traffic violations filed by state police following a May 17 incident.

Christopher Ryan Martinkovich, 34, of Prospect, was sentenced to serve 48 months of probation including 18 months of house arrest and pay fines totaling $7,000 after pleading guilty to two counts each of driving with a suspended license and habitual offenders. The case was filed by state police following separate incidents on Nov. 3, 2020 and Nov. 24, 2021.

Shatonia Nakia Skrine, 32, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to serve six months of probation, complete 25 hours of community service and $900 in restitution after pleading guilty to a charge of theft by unlawful taking. The case was filed by Cranberry Township police following an April 24 incident.

Ronald W. Steighner, 37, of Butler was sentenced to serve six months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 25 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI. The case was filed by state police following an Aug. 13, 2021, incident.

Christopher Todd Weidman, 28, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation after pleading guilty to a charge of fleeing police filed by Jackson Township police following an Oct. 31, 2021, incident.

Emma Elizabeth Bair, 22, of Orlando, Fla., was sentenced to serve six months of probation, pay a $300 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a Sept. 3, 2021, incident.

Kayla Rayshawn Thomas, 25, of Pittsburgh was sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 40 hours of community service after pleading guilty to a charge of DUI filed by state police following a March 23, 2021, incident.

Jason W. Skultety, 50, of Pulaski, Lawrence County, was sentenced to serve six months of probation while on house arrest and pay a $2,500 fine after pleading guilty to a charge of driving with a suspended license. The case was filed by Adams Township police following a Dec. 7, 2021, incident.

Lindsay Theresa Harms, 36, of Pittsburgh, was sentenced to serve 12 months of probation including 14 days of house arrest, pay fines totaling $1,050, complete 40 hours of community service and pay $17,991 in restitution after pleading guilty to charges of DUI and accidents involving damage. The case was filed by state police following a June 8, 2021, incident.
