Six Butler County area high school football teams will be involved in postseason play. Following are the games those teams are preparing for. Each team is preceded by its seed and followed by its overall record.

WPIAL

Class 4A: No. 12 Mars (6-4) at No. 5 McKeesport (9-1), 7 p.m., Friday

Class 3A: No. 4 Freeport (9-1) earned a bye into the quarterfinals and will host the winner of Friday’s game between No. 12 Southmoreland (4-6) and No. 5 West Mifflin (5-5) at 7 p.m. Nov. 11.

District 10

Class 6A: No. 2 Butler (4-6) vs. No. 1 McDowell (8-2), district championship game, 7 p.m., Friday at Erie’s Veterans Stadium

Class 3A: No. 6 Slippery Rock (5-4) vs. No. 3 Oil City (7-2), 7 p.m., Friday at Titusville High School

District 9

Class 2A: No. 3 Karns City (6-4) vs. No. 2 Brookville (5-5), 7 p.m., Friday at Clarion University

Class 1A: No. 5 Union/A-C Valley (5-5) at No. 4 Keystone (6-4), 7 p.m., Friday
